Recently Canada announced that they are going to accept the application for Permanent residence and Express Entry profile.
The draw for Express Entry profile will be held by IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada). Over the past five days, IRCC has held 2 draws for welcoming approximately 4000 Express Entry candidates to apply for PR.
In addition to this, the provincial government is still holding draws through their Provincial Nominee Program. Through these programs, provinces or territories can nominate candidates who are willing to immigrate in that particular province. This program is unique for all provinces.
IRCC is still accepting the application and even providing 90 days as a period to submit additional requirements.
What does “immediate family” mean?
As per the guidelines of IRCC, the definition of the immediate family relates to the following people:
- The parent or Step-parent
- Spouse (Husband/Wife) or lawful partner
- Dependent child or grandchild
- Guardian or tutor
