Application Tracker? What exactly is an Application Tracker? What exactly does it do? What is its relationship to immigration? Don’t be concerned when you have me. Today we will discuss and learn about everything. So, let’s get this party started.  In simple terms, an application tracker is a tool that enables applicants to track the status of their applications in real time. An application tracker is typically an online platform or software the organization provides in charge of processing the application. The primary aim of application trackers is to provide transparency and keep applicants notified throughout the application process. They are incredibly beneficial for applicants who are extremely worried about the status of their application and want to be informed of any important updates or requirements. It’s like the applicants can use the tracker to see when their application was received when it is being processed, and if any additional information or documentation is required. So, three of the questions have been answered now.

So, I was thinking it is time that we get back to the last question, that is, What is its relationship to immigration? I promise, I will answer this in detail and you will know all about it. Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) have announced the addition of four new categories to their online application status trackers. And as we have already discussed what these trackers do, therefore, applicants will be able to monitor their application and stay up to date on any updates regarding actions that may be required to keep their file moving with the help of these status trackers.

Express Entry candidates will benefit from the new status trackers which include:

And candidates in Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs).

The status Trackers are meant to increase transparency and are used so that candidates have easier and more direct access to information than they would have with the IRRCC. The new online status trackers are part of IRCC’s ongoing attempts to decrease wait times and improve access to information. It has been discovered that this initiative is part of the ministry’s commitment to openness and transparency and that application status tracking will be accessible for more types of applications in the coming months. However, IRCC created status trackers exactly one year ago to make it easier for family-class permanent residence applicants, sponsors, and their representatives to check their application status online.

Digitizing IRCC: Exploring the Latest Efforts to Streamline Immigration Processes.

IRCC announced in September that it would begin the transition to 100% digital applications for the majority of permanent residence programs. It was learned that between September and October 2022, the department accepted online applications for:

  • Sponsoring an eligible relative
  • Sponsoring a dependent child
  • Provincial nominee program (non-Express Entry)
  • Sponsoring a spouse or partner
  • Quebec-selected skilled workers
  • Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot
  • Sponsoring a sibling, niece or nephew, or grandchild who is orphaned
  • Adopting a child via the immigration system

The IRCC has already made much of the citizenship application process digital. Permanent residents over the age of 18 can now apply for citizenship online, whether they are applying as a couple or as an adult family. Minors under the age of 18 must still apply on paper, and if a family applies with children under the age of 18, the entire family must apply on paper.

We have today discussed all of the 4 questions briefly, I hope everything is everything today about the Application tracker. I hope we are meeting the next time………..
